My path to yin yoga began in 2013 in Abu Dhabi, where I lived for six years. While setting up a new life abroad, yoga was the most empowering element in my life and the best mental support.
Yes I dance every day. No particular style, but I do it because when I dance my heart rises, my body awakens and my batteries rise to 100.
I am also inspired by the discipline and filigree of ballet. Nowhere do I see so much art, passion and maximum physical effort as in ballet.
When possible, I love to go rock climbing. Climbing is a passion for me where I can calm my mind in a different way like yoga. You have to think ahead with each next step and then use your energy wisely to reach the top. Often when I reach the summit I am totally exhausted but happy to have made it.
Yoga is my sanctuary - my place of refuge when I notice that body and mind are no longer in harmony. I therefore regularly incorporate the practice into my everyday life.
Yes, yoga slows me down and I trust in the course of life. So I'm very relaxed in stressful situations, don't make any rash decisions and rarely go out of my skin.
I have a classical yoga education, a specialization in yin yoga and a personal trainer education to get to know the human anatomy better. This knowledge is also very important in yoga to be able to work individually on each participant.
Last year I started my training to become an EYP - Embodied Yoga Principles Teacher.
In general, anyone can participate in my courses and retreats. However, they are designed especially for women to create a great feminine atmosphere. Women can create a tremendous energetic environment together.
I originally studied auditing and taxation. Later I also studied political science. I worked in this field for 15 years until I made yoga my profession 7 years ago.
MOYOCOYOTZIN. It's ancient Aztec and means "The woman who creates herself."
That every woman has the possibility to live her female independence and that feminism exists without justification. Because big-strong-soft girls know one thing: "Never ever explain yourself".
I wish LUVIYO to become known in all corners of the world. Because here it is shown that modern design can happen sustainably, long-lasting and under the aspect of animal welfare.
